Vicente Ruiz Zagal: An admirable person

Vicente Ruiz Zagal was born in July 29^th, 1940; in Angangueo Michoacán, he was one of the middle brothers in his family, he lived with his parents and siblings, and their family dedicated to sell fabrics, at that time he lived with a lot of deficiencies in his childhood and adolescence, at the age of 11 years old his family and him had to move to Toluca, to continue with their business, because they realize that people buy more in Toluca than in Michoacán, they had to rent a house near by the downtown, in order to make them easy the movement of the fabrics. Despite everything his parents want him to study a professional career, and he decided to start working, to help their parents with the money of the career.

He decided to study Tourism, and thanks to his academic excellency he got a scholarship that help him to pay all of his trips, we went to travel around the world, he visited countries like Egypt, Indonesia, Argentina, England, Spain, Italy, Canada, all of South America, and even in his visit to United States, he was able to meet in person the President of the United States of America. After he return and finishes his career, he starts to work in Toluca giving tours around the city and thanks to that job he could help even more his family.

After that he met a woman, that soon she will become his wife, they meet thanks to her brother that happens to be his friend, they started to hanging out and they felt in love, and they get married, during their youth they visit a lot of places around Mexico, and after they return, they had to start to work, she was a teacher, and after a while he also got interested in become a teacher, and that becomes in to a passion, he studies his Master’s degree in English Education, and he graduate with honorific mention, and he start to work in elementary schools and after a while he became in the Principal of his institution.

After 30 years of hard work, five children and a lot of experiences, he decided to retire from work and rest, he started to have grandchild’s, and in December 24^th, 2002; was born his grand-daughter, with he spent the most of the time, since she was new born she took care of her, he did even the impossible for her, and teach her everything she needed it, for the life; that girl was me, my grandpa and me spent a lot of time together during my childhood, he was like a protector to me, he was the person who always picked me up from school, and bought me and ice-cream, and also he played with me all the time. My Grandpa is one of the person that I most admire because despite of his childhood and all of the things that he had to pass, he always decided to be a good man, and to love everyone, thanks to him and my grandma who were teachers I decided to study this career, because they inspired me, to help this way people, and to always be a good person.

Both of them were excellent teachers, parents, relatives and excellent grandparents and even if they are not here anymore with us, their legacy will remain forever.
